We have limited places on the fantastic McCain Yorkshire Coast 10K & Fun Run! 

This race will take place around the South and North bays of Scarborough starting at the iconic SPA building and routing through the Open-Air Theatre to the Sea Life Center.

Registration officially opens on June 1 2024, but by registering with us, we'll guarentee a place on this years race. 

Charity places are just £5 of charge, all we ask is you raise a minimum of £50 if running the 10k or £40 if running the 5k.

When can I sign up?

However, when you register with the charity, we will guarantee your place in this year’s race.

We’ll send you a special link to allow you to register for the race free of charge.

Where is the race?

The race starts and finishes at The SPA, Scarborough YO11 2HD

What is included in the event?

Chip timing, finisher’s goody bag exclusive medal and a fantastic experience!

You’ll also receive a Y&S Hospitals Charity running vest and support from our charity team before the event!

Are there any age restrictions?

Entrants must be 16 years or over on event day.

Can I decide which hospital my money goes towards?

Yes - during registration you'll be asked where you would like your money to be spent, meaning you will be supporting staff and patients at your local hospital.

What are the event timings?

Estimated timings will be;

• 07:30 Seafront roads closed to traffic
• 08:30 Help Desk & Bag drop open
• 09:40 Bag Drop closes
• 09:45 The McCains Yorkshire Coast 10K race commences
• 10:00 The McCains Yorkshire Coast 5K race commences.
• 11:15 10K prize giving at the SPA
• 12:45 South Bay Foreshore road re-opens
• 13:00 The SPA approach road re-opens
