FAQ's

Is transport provided?

No, we do not put on any transport however, we would suggest getting in touch with any local running clubs as they do put transport on and may have spare seats on a bus.

What does the registration fee include?

£55 registration fee includes;

  • Your place in the run organised by the Great Run Company
  • Charity running vest
  • A dedicated page to collect donations and share your story

Is there an age restriction for participants?

We are not allowed to accept places for under 16's.

Are there toilets?

Yes, there are toilets at the beginning, finish and along the route.

Is there a minimum fundraising target?

We encourage participants to raise £300 however we understand times are difficult for everyone at the moment and we are hugely grateful to our supporters for taking on this challenge. Raise as much as you can by sharing your fundraising page with friends and family so they can sponsor you. Your sponsorship will also go towards supporting staff and patients who visit our hospitals across the Trust.

Can I raise sponsorship offline?

Yes you can. You will receive a sponsorship form upon registration and we can supply you with collecting tins and personalised posters for those local shops and pubs. Get in touch with us and we'll get things ready for you.

Can I decide which hospital my money goes towards?

Yes – simply let us know if you have a specific department that you would like to support.

What happens once I've signed up?

Once you've signed up to the challenge you will receive your welcome email. A fundraising page will be created when you register, which means you can start your fundraising right away!

Your running vest will be sent out to you no later than two weeks before the event or when you have reached your fundraising target.
