How will you complete your 10k? There are three ways you get involved: 1) Complete a distance of 10k any time in March - run, walk, cycle, swim or scoot, how will you complete yours? 2) Complete 10,000 steps every day in March. Not an easy challenge for some, and a great way to get fit 3) Choose your own challenge – complete a 10k every day for a week, do 10,000 sit ups or do ten 10ks across March! However you decide to get involved, you'll be making a huge difference to your local NHS. Raise as much as you can by sharing your fundraising page with friends and family so they can sponsor you. Can I decide where my money goes? Yes - during registration you'll be asked where you would like your money to be spent, meaning you will be supporting staff and patients at your local NHS hospital. How do I decide on my own 10k Any Way challenge? Choose a 10k challenge works best for you! Think of something that will be a challenge for you to complete but that is achievable. It could be a 10k run, walk or cycle spread out over a longer period or repeated over a few days - whatever is your own personal challenge! Or it could be something outside the box, like a 10k stair climbing challenge or 10k hops on a space hopper! Whatever your fitness level or ability there's a challenge you could do that gets you moving, which is incredibly important for our mental and physical wellbeing. Where should I do my 10k? Anywhere! You can complete your challenge at home, in your garden, in a local park or gym. Wherever is convenient and safe for you to take part. When should I do my 10k? You can start as soon as you get your pack, but we recommend completing your 10k challenge between 1 March – 31 March. If you wish to complete the challenge before this date, please let us know so we can get your pack to you in plenty of time. If you want to complete your challenge after March, please get in touch. Can I enter a team? Yes! This can either be with friends, family or colleagues either all together or with each team member completing their challenge individually. During registration you can create a team page or join an existing team. What happens once I've signed up?
